THE DAIRY IS OPEN FOR SELF-GUIDED TOURS FROM 9:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 3:00 AND 4:00 THE COWS ARE NOT BEING MILKED. SUNDAYS THE DAIRY IS CLOSED.
We ask that people doing self-tours of the facility make a donation of $2.00 per person.
A portion of the money collected will be used to continue The Gary Van Der Geest Memorial Scholarships. The scholarships are given annually to area students continuing their education in an agricultural related field.
GUIDED TOURS
Groups with 12 or more people.
Contact Peggy at 715-675-6043 to make advance arrangements. During the guided tour a video will be shown giving the history of the Dairy and photos of some of the areas that are not open to visitors. The guide will also give information and answer questions. For the guided tours there is a donation of $4.00 per person.
Schools or Student group tours will not be charged, however donations are appreciated.
(The group tours are not available for any groups under 4th grade level)
During times of extreme heat or cold the Management of the Dairy may close the facility to visitors. If there has been extreme heat or cold, please call ahead.
The only area open for self-tours is on the catwalk, which is above the milking parlor, holding area, free-stall barn, and Dryer facility.
The Rest of the dairy is NOT open to the public.
